FCBC is honored to partner with and support local high school baseball programs that employ a long-standing local, community-building model that honors past, current, and future generations.  FCBC / HS partnerships began in the 1960s.

FCBC offers competitive baseball opportunities for players who are of high school age.  Each Varsity Head Coach from the PSD schools that choose to partner with FCBC will determine the number of summer teams that will be their club teams for each summer.  Each program runs a tryout, creates their own rosters, and communicates with players/families.  See the right side of this page for 8th Grade Tryout info.

FCBC offers competitive baseball opportunities for players who are or will soon be of high school age.

Most FCBC-affiliated 14u teams (these teams are made up primarily of current 8th graders) play a “short season” and conclude their schedules by/before Memorial Day so their players can move to their summer high school program.  These short season teams play leagues and/or tournaments during the spring season in preparation for their transition into the high school summer teams.  Some 14u teams do choose to play a full youth season (which means those players do not play with the high school summer program).  Please contact FCBC or the head coach at your high school if you have questions about the options.

While high school coaches kindly offer flexibility with where their rising 9th Graders play in the summer before they begin high school, they love/prefer to see those kids get involved with the high school program.

FCBC strongly recommends that, where possible, 8th Graders play with their high school programs during the summer before 9th Grade. (Meaning we recommend that 14u youth players play on a "short-season" team that finishes by mid/late May.)

**Players who are not selected to play for the high school teams next summer may still play in FCBC’s summer 7th/8th grade rec league or 14u Intermediate League.

• This tryout is for players who are in 8th Grade (in Fall 2024) for the possibility of playing on the following summer’s high school team (as rising 9th Graders).
