Fundraising:
The Fort Collins Storm will be funded primarily through the parents and families of all players that are selected. During the year we will also participate in fundraising opportunities as agreed upon by parents and coaches. We will also look for sponsorships to help offset the total cost of the program.

Philosophy
We intend to create a positive coaching environment where each player will develop strong baseball fundamentals. Our goal is to create players who develop a life long passion for the game of baseball. Baseball is a game and should be fun. Practice time will be devoted to instruction around fundamentals. Advanced situational play will be introduced as players progress. Competition, teamwork, and sportsmanship will be a focus.

Goals
We will strive to field a team that gives us the best chance to win each game. Wins and losses are the result of preparation, and the effort made on the practice field will translate into success in game situations. All players will be properly prepared to compete through fundamental instruction and a strong mental approach to the game. Players will display a positive attititude, good sportsmanship, and respect for teammates, coaches, players, umpires, and opponents.

Playing Time
All players will have an opportunity to contribute in each game. The coaching staff will determine playing time. Factors impacting playing time will include work ethic in practice, attitude, and demonstrated ability to perform satisfactorily at a designated position. |
